How Invisalign® Works
Invisalign® clear aligners work in ways similar to conventional braces, with some notable differences. Instead of the push and pull of brackets and wires, Invisalign® trays make the teeth conform to the next position until your treatment is complete. The trays use mild pressure to gently and gradually nudge the teeth further into alignment. How Long Should I Wear My Invisalign® Clear Aligners Each Day?
Invisalign® trays should be worn for at least 20 to 22 hours per day, unless otherwise recommended by your orthodontist or dentist. You should also attend follow-up appointments to achieve the greatest possible outcome.
You should try to wear your Invisalign® aligner trays as much as possible, they can be taken out during mealtimes, brushing, and flossing.
Is Invisalign® Right for Me?
