How Invisalign® Works
Look Great While You Improve Your Smile
Safe and Comfortable
Invisalign® alignment trays are designed for comfort. There are no wires or brackets to rub against the inner cheek or for food to become lodged. Plus, you can enjoy all your favorite foods without fear of damaging your orthodontic device. At Young Dental Health Center Upland, we employ state-of-the-art digital scanning equipment to produce extremely precise models of your teeth. These are used to plan your treatment path and to ensure the process is as comfortable as possible.
Invisalign® aligner trays are made of a transparent thermoplastic that is free of BPA and bisphenol S, as well as latex and gluten-based materials.
How Long Should I Wear My Invisalign® Clear Aligners Each Day?
Invisalign® trays should be worn for at least 20 to 22 hours per day, unless otherwise recommended by your orthodontist or dentist. You should also attend follow-up appointments to achieve the greatest possible outcome.
You should try to wear your Invisalign® aligner trays as much as possible, they can be taken out during mealtimes, brushing, and flossing.
Is Invisalign® Right for Me?
Straightening your teeth goes beyond having a great smile. Aligning your teeth makes it easier to clean and maintain your teeth and gums. Also, correcting your bite reduces excessive wear on certain areas of the teeth and can also improve your digestion.
Invisalign® clear aligners can treat most, but not all, cases of malocclusion; severely crooked teeth and corrections that require complex tooth movements might require traditional braces. Through an in-person consultation, the team at Hall Family Dental can help determine which course of treatment can help you achieve your smile goals.
